How Community Day Center of Waltham Helps Adults Experiencing Homelessness
The Community Day Center of Waltham provides day shelter and support services to adults who are experiencing homelessness. They strive to create a safe, judgment-free culture that is grounded in hospitality, compassion and mutual respect.
They help provide a safe place during the daytime hours so that adults in need can get the help and resources they require. They are a drop-in location where visitors can access various types of support and comforts. The Community Day Center also offers case management and a wide array of programs designed to help the needs of the clients and address some of the most difficult aspects of homelessness.

How to Make a Difference
- DONATE: Donations help with a variety of expenses such as free clothing, transportation to medical appointments, free showers and laundry and hot meals. The Community Day Center also accepts donated goods such new and gently used clothing, new socks/shoes, and toiletry items.
