How Webster House Helps Children in Need

Webster House has been providing a structured, nurturing home for kids who cannot live at home for reasons of abuse, neglect, or difficulties in the community. Children are given a caring environment, where they have a second chance to experience the joys of childhood. The home's goal is to be a safe and stable place where kids are able to grow self-esteem and confidence, while possibly rebuilding family relationships when it is possible. The Webster House Children's Home has been open since 1884.

Programs Provided

The Webster House also offers many programs for the kids to help them grow and thrive. These include:

• Supportive and group counseling
• Independent Living Program
• Goal Oriented Case Management
• Positive-Focused Behavioral Program
  
• Crisis Management
• Liaison with School
• Community volunteering / employment program
• Homework / academic support
• Recreational Programs (Beach, hiking, Cape Cod trips, Kayaking, etc.)
• Healthy Outlets for Teens
